Updates for Tailwind, Partners 4 Prosperity Edition

Tailwind is pleased to announce a number of enhancements for Prosperity Pathway users. These changes, made in collaboration with Kim Butler and Partners 4 Prosperity, are designed to make Tailwind and the Prosperity Profile easier to use and more useful to you and your clients.

Client Experience

Tailwind now checks to see whether or not your clients’ contacts include birthdate information and will ask them to enter it before letting you know they’re done with the questionnaire.
The client can now enter their credit score on the Protection Mechanism screen.
When the user clicks “I’m Done” Tailwind now turns off the Guided Interview, making it easier for clients to review their information the next time they have already entered.

Advisor Experience

The case screens now open in the same browser instance as the main screen, simplifying interations with Tailwind.
The advisor can now enter the client’s credit score on the Protection Mechanism screen.

Prosperity Profile

Added Credit Score field to Prosperity Profile and Protection Mechanism screen.
Information on 401k’s and Roth IRA’s are now in separate fields rather than combined into one.
An Annual Charitable Contributions field has been added to the Profile.
Children’s names are now shown in the Prosperity Profile.
Qualified and Non-Qualified assets are now referred to as Retirement and Non-Retirement assets, respectively.
“Current Cash Value” of real estate has been changed to ”Current Market Value.”
“Expense/Income Ratio” has been changed to ”% of Income Allocated”

Update: Branded Client Questionnaire Emails

When you send your clients an invitation to fill out the Tailwind Questionnaire, the email used to contain a Tailwind logo at the top. To improve the branding experience Tailwind offers, Tailwind is pleased to announce that the invitation email has been updated to show your custom logo, if you’ve specified one.

To specify a custom logo, simply click the “Customize Tailwind” link on the Tailwind main screen, and select the company logo you want to display on the advisor and client screens.

Here’s how the program works:

Refer somebody to us by and filling out the online referral form. Make sure to fill out all of the required fields.
If the person you referred signs up for Tailwind, you will receive a refund for a month of your subscription once they’ve paid for two months.

There is only one requirement to participate in the Tailwind Referral Program: You must be a current, paying Tailwind customer to participate. It’s that simple.

Tailwind is pleased to announce a number of enhancements designed to make Tailwind more useful than ever to you and your clients.

Changes to www.tailwindfs.com

A Video section has been added to the web site. This page will contain product and feature videos, tutorials, and recordings of events such as webinars. There are a small number of videos available on this page now, and the collection will be growing shortly. To view Tailwind videos, go to http://www.tailwindfs.com/video.

Changes to the Advisor and Client Applications

The Guided Interview feature, released in January, has made the client’s task of filling out the confidential financial questionnaire much easier. Since its initial release, the Guided Interview has undergone some minor upgrades designed to make the questionnaire even easier to fill out. Changes include bug fixes and procedural changes designed to make the interview questions easier to understand.
The advisor can now delete cases from the Tailwind main screen by simply moving the mouse over the client’s name on the Tailwind main screen and clicking “Delete Case” on the popup menu. Exercise caution when deleting cases – once deleted they cannot be recovered.
For branding purposes, the advisor can now change the logo shown on the Tailwind advisor and client applications. Simply click the “Customize Tailwind” link on the Tailwind main screen, and select the company logo you want to display on the advisor and client screens.

Tailwind Update Posted

In response to user feedback, an update to the Tailwind advisor and client applications has just been posted. The main changes in this release are as follows:

Advisor Application (https://advisors.tailwindfs.com)

The popup menu next to each client listed on the main menu now has two options for opening the client’s case:
Open Case, which opens the instruction page for the next step to be completed in the case; and Open Case to Last Viewed Screen.
The default action (when you click on the client’s name on the main window) has been changed to open the case to the instruction page for the next step.
The application now supports US and Canadian addresses.
The application now supports Canadian customers.
